The Global Manufacturing Research Group (GMRG) annual meeting was held in Houston, Texas May 30, 31 and June 1, 2002. Basheer Khumawala and Sukran Kadipasaoglu hosted the event. The topic for the 2002 meeting in Houston was Global Supply Chain Management Practices: The State-of-the Art. GMRG participants visited the George Bush Presidential Library & Museum on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas to see the Feature Exhibits Fathers and Sons: Two Families, Four Presidents.
